Dark Dark Dark - Trouble No More [mp3]

Whiskey drinking is an activity to be enjoyed by the finest sportsmen. I find that the best way to consume whiskey is directly from a Coca Cola bottle. In this way, you repackage and reuse what would have previously been a discarded item and also you lighten the bite of the whiskey with Bisphenol A, a vaguely harmful yet delicious chemical found in most polycarbonate plastic bottles.

The reason I bring this up is because Nona Marie Invie is of the misperception that giving up whiskey drinking is a reasonable response to “you left me on the hottest day.” Indeed, she believes that perhaps some of her lifestyle choices were ill conceived, and that she could have “trouble no more” with a few slight adjustments. I do not dispute that last statement and only suggest that the correct adjustments are likely to stop hopping trains and floating down the Missississippi with hooligans and traveling around Europe aimlessly. These are silly things to do…

“What’s that you say Nona?”

“No?”

“You are not happier eh? I misunderstood it seems.”

“I apologize about the confusion.”

“I did not mean to infer that you had given up on whiskey or beer.”

“I hear now perfectly what you are saying, now that you have pointed it out.”

“Whiskey drinking cessation is not a sportsman-like thing to do and I believe you would never give up so easily.”

“Nona, no need to be so haughty.”

So in conclusion, drink whiskey. It will make you really good at the accordion and if you drink enough, you might one day find yourself homeless, without a companion, in unknown or unspecified whereabouts, yet happy. Unless you quit drinking.
