Pumice - Pumice Quo [mp3]
Whoa now.
It’s time I started to Really Get to the Heart of Things.
Procrastination has been my fascination
but no more.
I will be Getting Things Done
Especially Quickly.
Or.
I will distract myself with words,
with wine,
with weed,
with women,
with welding,
with wiper fluid,
with wax celebrities,
with Wilmot (,OH),
with witnessing
the spectacularly stupid events
that dot my timescape.
How did I get into this box?
I remember once, there was no wall.
I could prance around anywhere
and set little fires to keep warm by,
to cook food by,
to pass time by.
And while I’m on the subject,
how much do I weigh?
A lot more than it looks,
I think.
And a lot more than books for sure.
But maybe not a large pile of books.
But a couple
at least.
This is the part of the narrative that breaks down for a while.
But after that “while” has passed,
the narrative will be stronger
and flow naturally without hesitation.
So please, do not lose faith in the narrative.
The narrative is floating on a hope.
Which is to say,
floatation device.
